Medan, 27 November 2023. Di tengah semangat belajar yang membara, mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka (UT) Daerah Medan telah siap menghadapi tantangan Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS) masa 2023.Ganjil. Dalam rangka mempersiapkan diri dengan baik, terdapat beberapa hal penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh mahasiswa untuk menghadapi tiga skema ujian yang akan dilaksanakan, yaitu Ujian Tatap Muka (UTM), Ujian Online (UO), dan Take Home Exam (THE).
1. Ujian Tatap Muka (UTM)
Ujian Tatap Muka (UTM) merupakan salah satu skema ujian yang dilakukan secara langsung di lokasi ujian. Untuk menghadapi UTM, berikut beberapa hal yang perlu dipersiapkan oleh mahasiswa:
1. Jadwal dan Lokasi: Pastikan mahasiswa mengetahui jadwal dan lokasi ujian UTM yang telah ditetapkan oleh Universitas Terbuka. Periksa kembali jadwal yang telah diumumkan dan pastikan untuk hadir tepat waktu di tempat yang telah ditentukan.
2. Persiapan Materi: Segera mulai untuk mempelajari dan mempersiapkan diri dengan baik terkait materi-materi yang telah diajarkan selama satu semester. Perbanyak latihan soal dan revisi materi agar dapat menghadapi UTM dengan percaya diri.
3. Perlengkapan Ujian: Mahasiswa perlu memastikan bahwa mereka membawa perlengkapan ujian yang diperlukan, seperti :
• Alat Tulis: Pensil 2B, Penghapus, Rautan Pensil, Bolpoin, Alas Ujian,
• KTPU (Kartu Tanda Peserta Ujian) yang dapat diunduh di akun MyUT masing-masing mahasiswa,
• Identitas Berfoto (KTM, KTP, SIM, atau Paspor), serta
• Berpakaian rapi menggunakan atasan kemeja putih dan bawahan hitam, memakai sepatu dan almamater UT.
2. Ujian Online (UO)
Ujian dengan sistem ujian online yang menggunakan fasilitas komputer di sekolah mitra UT Daerah Medan. Ujian Online merupakan soal pilihan ganda kecuali TAP. Jadi, untuk Ujian Online, mahasiswa tetap wajib hadir dan datang ke lokasi ujian sesuai dengan yang tertera pada KTPU yang telah diunduh oleh mahasiswa. Berikut adalah beberapa hal yang harus dipersiapkan untuk menghadapi UO, mahasiswa wajib membawa:
• Bolpoin,
• KTPU (Kartu Tanda Peserta Ujian) yang dapat diunduh di akun SIA masing-masing mahasiswa,
• Identitas Berfoto (KTM, KTP, SIM, atau Paspor),
• serta berpakaian rapi menggunakan atasan kemeja putih dan bawahan hitam, memakai sepatu dan almamater UT.
3. Take Home Exam (THE)
Take Home Exam (THE) yang memberikan mahasiswa kesempatan untuk menyelesaikan tugas di rumah. Berikut adalah beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam menghadapi THE:
1. Batas Waktu: Mahasiswa harus memahami batas waktu yang ditetapkan untuk menyelesaikan THE. Buatlah jadwal yang terorganisir untuk memastikan semua tugas dapat diselesaikan tepat waktu.
2. Rujukan Materi: Pastikan mahasiswa memiliki referensi materi yang lengkap dan sesuai dengan tugas yang diberikan. Jangan melakukan tindakan plagiasi atau copy paste jawaban tanpa mencantumkan sumber referensi yang valid.
3. Kualitas Pekerjaan: Meskipun THE dikerjakan di luar kelas, tetaplah menjaga kualitas pekerjaan dengan baik. Periksa kembali tugas sebelum mengirimkannya, pastikan telah memenuhi persyaratan yang diberikan dan menjaga kerapihan serta kejelasan jawaban.
THE dilakukan secara online selama 6 jam pengerjaan. Ujian dapat dilakukan dimana saja dengan mengakses laman https://www.the.ut.ac.id/ dan mahasiswa dapat melakukan open book. Laman THE baru dapat diakses pada saat tanggal pelaksanaan ujian sesuai dengan yang tertera di KTPU masing-masing mahasiswa. KTPU berisi password Ujian Online dan Take Home Exam sehingga KTPU bersifat rahasia dan tidak boleh dibagikan kepada mahasiswa atau orang lain.
Mahasiswa login pada laman THE menggunakan NIM dan password yang tertera pada KTPU Waktu pengerjaan THE adalah selama 6 jam (sejak download soal ujian). Mahasiswa wajib mengunduh naskah soal dan Buku Jawaban Ujian (BJU) dan mengunggah Buku Jawaban Ujian (BJU) secara mandiri melalui laman https://www.the.ut.ac.id/ Jika mahasiswa TERLAMBAT tidak mengumpulkan sesuai tenggat waktu 6 jam atau sesuai dengan yang tertera laman THE, maka mahasiswa dianggap tidak mengerjakan ujian. Mahasiswa wajib mengindahkan etika akademik dan menaati aturan UAS THE yang tertera pada laman THE.
Dengan memperhatikan hal-hal penting yang telah disebutkan, mahasiswa UT Daerah Medan diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan diri dengan baik dan sukses menghadapi Ujian Akhir Semester. Semangat dan jadilah yang terbaik!
