Medan, 22 Januari 2024 – Universitas Terbuka (UT) membuka pendaftaran mahasiswa baru program studi Sarjana Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) untuk semester 2023/2024 genap. Pendaftaran dibuka mulai tanggal 8 Januari hingga 20 Februari 2024.
Program studi PAI UT dibuka untuk mahasiswa guru maupun non-guru. Jurusan ini dibuka karena tingginya anemo pasar akan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam baik di sekolah maupun madrasah. UT ingin membantu dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut.
Sebagai universitas yang berbasis jarak jauh, UT berkontribusi terhadap minimnya pendidik agama Islam yang mampu memanfaatkan teknologi dalam menyebarkan ilmu agama. UT juga memberikan peluang bagi alumni dari lulusan madrasah dan pondok pesantren yang selama ini harus memilih jurusan yang tidak linier dengan minat mereka.
Direktur UT Medan, Dra. Yusrafiddin, M.Pd., mengatakan bahwa program studi PAI UT memiliki keunggulan-keunggulan tersendiri. Pertama, program studi ini memiliki kurikulum yang mengacu pada Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) dan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL). Kedua, program studi ini didukung oleh tenaga pengajar yang kompeten dan berpengalaman. Ketiga, program studi ini menggunakan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh yang fleksibel dan dapat diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja.
“Kami berharap program studi PAI UT dapat menjadi pilihan bagi calon mahasiswa yang ingin menjadi pendidik agama Islam yang profesional dan kompeten,” ujar Yusrafiddin.
Untuk mendaftar program studi PAI UT, calon mahasiswa dapat mengakses laman https://admisi-sia.ut.ac.id. Calon mahasiswa harus memiliki ijazah SMA/MA/SMK/MAK dengan jurusan IPA, IPS, atau agama.
Berikut adalah persyaratan pendaftaran program studi PAI UT:
*Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP)
*Pasphoto terbaru (4×6 berwarna)
*Fotokopi ijazah terakhir (minimal SLTA/sederajat) dilegalisir
*Formulir tanda tangan dan paraf (download di ut.ac.id/formulir)
*Formulir Surat Pernyataan Kebenaran Data dan Keabsahan Dokumen (download di ut.ac.id/formulir)
*Formulir Pernyataan dapat Membaca Al’Quran dengan baik
*Membayar biaya pendaftaran Rp 100.000,- ((untuk Jalur Umum/Non RPL/Non Alih Kredit)

untuk PAI tidak perlu surat keterangan mengajar ya, diganti dengan surat keterangan bisa membaca Al Quran dari yayasan atau BKM di domisili nya ya
